Gloucester Fire Department Awarded State Grant for Student Awareness of Fire Education Program and Senior SAFE Program

GLOUCESTER — Chief Eric Smith and State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey are pleased to report that the Gloucester Fire Department has been awarded $4,565 for the Fiscal Year 2020 Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) Program and $2,552 for the Senior SAFE Program by the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services.

Maynard Fire Department Receives State Grant for Student Awareness of Fire Education Program and Senior SAFE Program

MAYNARD — Chief Anthony Stowers and State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey are pleased to announce that the Maynard Fire Department/District has been awarded $3,965 for the Fiscal Year 2020 Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) Program and $2,348 for the Senior SAFE Program by the state Department of Fire Services.

Marion Fire Department Announces Grant Award for Firefighter Turnout Gear

Fire Chief Brian Jackvony is pleased to announce that the Marion Fire Department has received a $3,240 Firefighter Turnout Gear Grant from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) and the Department of Fire Services (DFS). The department will be able to purchase protective hoods and gloves for personal protection during firefighting operations.
