EASTON — The Easton Emergency Management Agency (EEMA) continues to monitor the current situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations coming out of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state, and seeks to update its residents on any local preparedness efforts and changes.
Update #6: (4:20 p.m.) Arlington Schools to Close Starting Tomorrow through At Least March 27, Town Suspends Most Nonessential Services
Arlington Public Schools through at least March 27. The town has also decided to suspend most nonessential town services and cancel board and committee meetings until further notice.
ANDOVER — Superintendent John Lavoie reports that Greater Lawrence Technical School (GLTS) will close its facility next week out of an abundance of caution in an effort to reduce the risk of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to the school community. Additionally, the school will open tomorrow with a three-hour delay.
