“What just happened?” Sound familiar?
Each crisis is different, and each crisis is an opportunity to test your mettle and show your constituents what you’re made of. When JGPR is in crisis mode with clients, it’s easy to focus on what’s going wrong right now and how to make it better. It’s harder and much more important to see the forest through the trees. What caused this? Was there a procedural breakdown? Training lapse? Outdated or missing policies?
We aren’t just focused on managing the message in the moment. We want to prevent future crisis.
Just as our core public relations/media relations services aren’t focused on “doing all the work for you,” our Administrative Review service includes an independent, objective and professional analysis of a crisis. We work with our network of human resources experts, attorneys, investigators, former municipal managers and other experienced professionals to produce reports for clients that will offer the client and the public clarity on an issue. We also provide a roadmap for improvement and enrichment so that mistakes aren’t repeated.
Over a period of generally 90-120 days, our team will review data, conduct interviews and scour records with the goal of providing each client with a better understanding of a situation.
