HRECC Website
JGPR designed a brand new website for the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center (HRECC) that meets the HRECC’s unique needs as a regional dispatch center. In addition to providing background on the Center, the people who work there and the benefits of emergency dispatch regionalization, the site prominently features information about how to become a dispatcher. Expanding staff is a main priority for the Center, and the website outlines the qualifications and requirements needed to join and the new employee training program the HRECC offers.
The site outlines the Norfolk County Control mutual-aid control point, located at the Holbrook Fire Department, which coordinates mutual-aid responses for several communities in the region. There is also a link to a live scanner feed for the Norfolk County Fire Control.
Emergency dispatch centers have a unique need for communication and website services, as they incorporate elements of police departments, fire departments and EMS providers. As such, the website for the HRECC needed to contain a great deal of information that educated the public and future potential dispatchers as well as data to entice neighboring communities to join. This information needed to be easily accessible, despite in many cases being highly technical.
Lastly, the site prominently displays the social media feeds of the HRECC, as promoting the Center and making it more visible to the public through an increased online presence was something very important to the HRECC as they look to expand.
HRECC Brochure Design & Marketing Materials
JGPR has designed multiple marketing materials for the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center.
One of the main needs for the HRECC is expansion, both in terms of recruiting new dispatchers and expanding their client base. These marketing materials were designed primarily with those two goals in mind.
Materials included a one-sheet flyer that highlights the HRECC’s unique services and everything that sets them apart from other dispatch centers, including client benefits, their brand-new facility being built and their expansive client base. We also designed a recruitment document that outlines the ways to join, incentives and training opportunities. The materials are designed in a sleek, easy-to-read format with high-quality images and with the overall look and feel of the HRECC’s image in mind.
These marketing materials can be tailored to meet a wide range of distribution options, from handouts, tri-fold brochures and digital distribution. They could be disseminated in a variety of ways, such as mailings, at career or job fairs, at community events and more, allowing the HRECC to use the materials as needed. Data is also presented in a way that is easily updatable, should the HRECC ever need to print or share new versions based on future expansion.
