Benjamin Paulin is the Vice President of JGPR. He oversees the company’s Canton office, which opened in early 2021, and manages the company’s clients south of Boston, which includes police departments, fire departments, school districts and municipal government agencies.
Prior to coming to JGPR, he worked as a crime and public safety beat reporter for both the Brockton Enterprise and Patriot Ledger newspapers. His familiarity with the region and personal knowledge of the media coverage the area demands is invaluable.
As Vice President, Benjamin prides himself on meeting the needs of his smallest clients with the same passion and expertise as his largest accounts. Putting clients first with an eager and personable touch, Benjamin, along with the rest of the JGPR staff, is capable of taking on any challenge that may present itself head-on.
Ben has won several awards as a public relations professional and journalist throughout his 10+ year career. In 2019, he was honored with the Striker Award at the PR Club of New England’s Bell Ringer Awards as the Young PR Professional of the Year.
The Canton branch, under Ben’s leadership, won 9 of the company’s 15 awards at the 2021 Bell Ringer Awards, including two Gold Bells for work done for clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In 2020, the Canton office won the Gold, Silver and Bronze Bell Ringer Awards, sweeping the Local Television News Placement category.
Ben is a 2009 graduate of Suffolk University with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism.
He grew up in Easton, MA and lives in North Attleborough, MA with his wife Katharine.
