A published photographer since 2001, Nicolaus Czarnecki dedicates his life to photography. His works can be seen in world renowned publications from National Geographic, Time, Bloomberg, The Guardian, The Sun, The Christian Science Monitor to The London Financial Times.
On his days off from his current role as chief photographer at the Metro Boston Newspaper—which has a readership of over 150,000 daily—Nicolaus is covering national news: Hurricane Sandy, The Tragedy in Newtown, CT, Hurricane Katrina, The 2009 G20 protests, 2007 California Wildfires, 2011 Southern Tornadoes. His unrelenting passion for the photographic medium as a tool of communication has given rise to themed projects such as abandoned Detroit and images from the U.S/Mexico border. His photographs have appeared in galleries nationwide in Portland, Oregon, Richmond, Virginia, and Vermont.
