EAST KINGSTON – Fire Chief Ed Warren shares that the New Hampshire Mobile Vaccine Van will hold a clinic at the East Kingston Fire Station next month.
The Van is a partnership between the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and ConvenientMD. It will stop at the station at 5 Main St. on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Vaccines are free, and proof of insurance is not required. The clinic offers the two-dose Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, and the single-dose Johnson & Johnson. Those who choose the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine will be given information about how they can obtain the follow-up dose.
The clinic is open to all 12 years of age or older. Parental consent is required for any child ages 12-17. No appointment is necessary.
“I encourage everyone to become vaccinated, to protect both themselves and the ones they love,” Chief Warren said. “Thank you to the State of New Hampshire for bringing the van to East Kingston, and for making vaccinations convenient to our residents.”
