WOBURN — Superintendent Matthew Crowley and Principal Robert Nickerson are pleased to share that Malcolm White Elementary School has recently welcomed Heather Pollack as its new Assistant Principal.
The search for a new Assistant Principal was conducted by a thorough and collaborative committee that included Principal Nickerson, former Assistant Principal Giuliana Formisano, school staff members, and a community representative. The committee’s goal was to find a candidate who would fit the school’s culture and community, and Pollack emerged as the top choice.
Pollack brings years of teaching experience and a deep commitment to the growth and success of students to the school. Her previous experiences include 15 years of teaching and coaching at the elementary level in Peabody.
Pollack began her role as Assistant Principal in July 2024. Since taking on her role, she has immersed herself in the school’s operations, making a concerted effort to understand how the school functions and to integrate herself into the community.
Principal Nickerson noted Pollack’s proactive approach and strong dedication to being visible to students.
“Heather is doing a fantastic job. She takes it day by day, learning on the fly and constantly striving to improve,” said Nickerson. “Her eagerness to learn and dedication to the students stand out. Whether it’s being hands-on in classrooms, collaborating at PTO meetings or playing kickball outside at recess, she’s committed to building strong relationships with staff, students and community members.”
Pollack’s commitment to her students and the school’s mission has quickly made her a valuable member of the Malcolm White Elementary team. With her experience and enthusiasm, she is poised to make a significant impact on the school community in the years to come.
