MILTON — Principal Suzanne Banach would like to highlight the St. Mary of the Hills School Class of 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian.
Graduation was held on June 7 at St. Mary of the Hills Church with 16 students graduating.
The valedictorian for the graduating class is Sandrae Band and the salutatorian is Christopher Le.
Sandrae Band
“I am pleased to introduce Sandrae Band, the valedictorian of our graduating class of 2024,” said Principal Banach. “Sandrae has had an outstanding presence in the classroom throughout his time at St. Mary’s and has dedicated himself to giving back to his community through his involvement in extracurricular activities. We wish him a successful and happy future.”
In addition to achieving academic excellence, Band led multiple service projects during his time as a student including spearheading a project to raise money for the Malala Fund and organizing the Milton First Responders and one for Boston Children’s Hospital.
Prior to graduating, Band served as a member of the National Junior Honor Society, a member of the student council, and the CYO basketball team.
He plans to attend Cardinal Spellman High School in the fall.

“It is my pleasure to introduce the Class of 2024’s salutatorian: Christopher Le,” said Principal Banach. “Christopher is a pleasure to have both inside and outside the classroom. His academic and extracurricular achievements speak to his strong character and dedication to his school community.”
In addition to achieving academic excellence, Le served as a member of the National Junior Honor Society prior to graduation.
This year, Le was named winner of the St. Mary of the Hills School Spelling Bee during Catholic Schools Week and went on to represent the school at the South Area Regionals Spelling Bee.
He plans to attend Xaverian Brothers High School in the fall.
The St. Mary of the Hills Class of 2024 also includes Nyla Barros, Lily Caparrotta, Hans Denis, Preston Domercant, Meghan Finn, Aaron Fordjour, Channah Goodman, Sumayah Jesuca, Leila Johnson, Kayla Jolly, Enzinna Onujiogu, Kyleigh Williams-Morris, Dylan Bridges, and Billy Zephir.
The graduates will be attending the following schools this fall: Xaverian Brothers High School, Catholic Memorial, Archbishop Williams High School, Malden Catholic High School, Cardinal Spellman High School, Fontbonne Academy, Milton High School and Avon Middle-High School.
