The Brookline Office of Emergency Management and the Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services are offering another vital document scanning session, to ensure senior residents have secure access to their personal information in the event of an emergency.
After the success of the two-part vital documents program held at the Brookline Senior Center last month, enough interest was received to hold an additional scanning session to accommodate more residents who wished to participate.
Those who are interested should call 617-730-2770 to reserve a spot.
The Emergency Preparedness Buddies Program (EP Buddies) assists Brookline seniors and adults with disabilities who live alone to prepare for and respond to emergencies. More information is available here: www.brooklinema.gov/2023/Be-Resilient.
This project is supported with federal funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI).
