BROOKLINE — The Town of Brookline reports that power has been restored following an outage that affected parts of North Brookline on Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday, Feb. 15, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the Town of Brookline experienced a power outage that affected streetlights, traffic signals in major intersections, and approximately 1,000 to 2,000 customers (3-6 percent) in Town.
The outage lasted approximately one hour, and power was restored to roughly all customers by Eversource at approximately 3 p.m.
The cause of the outage was determined to be an equipment failure near Coolidge Corner.
