MATTAPOISETT — Superintendent Michael S. Nelson and Principal Michael Devoll are pleased to share the success of the Old Rochester Regional High School Drama Club’s performances of “Once Upon a Mattress.”
Four performances took place from March 30 through April 2.
“Once Upon a Mattress” is a spin on the classic tale “The Princess and the Pea.” When Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride, princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince. But, none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen, until Winnifred the Woebegone.
“Our ORRHS Drama Club regularly puts on wonderful performances, and ‘Once Upon a Mattress’ was no exception,” said Principal Devoll. “Our cast, crew and staff members always put significant time and effort into their shows, and we congratulate them on another great success.”
