CHARLTON — Superintendent-Director Kyle Brenner is pleased to announce that Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School students were honored at the District SkillsUSA Awards Ceremony last week.
On Monday, March 27, students who competed in this year’s District V SkillsUSA Competition were honored during a ceremony at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School.
“I want to congratulate each student that participated in this year’s District SkillsUSA Competition,” said Superintendent-Director Brenner. “I am incredibly proud to have these students represent our school district and have confidence they will excel in their future professions.”
Awards were announced in more than 25 categories covering a wide range of career and technical education specialties. Over 40 bronze, silver and gold awards were presented to both individual students and school teams. Many of these students also qualified to compete in the statewide conference.

Each year, SkillsUSA Massachusetts hosts six District Qualifying Events to determine which students will compete in the Massachusetts SkillsUSA Championships. During these events, held from February to March, students complete a written SkillsUSA Employment Skills test, a written trade knowledge test and a written safety test.
