SUDBURY — Police Chief Scott Nix reports that the Sudbury Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash that injured a pedestrian last week.

On Friday, Jan. 6, at about 5 p.m., Sudbury Police were dispatched to the area of 257 Concord Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers determined that a delivery driver attempting to cross the road was struck by a passing vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene of the crash and Sudbury Police are asking anyone who believes they may have information about the incident to come forward and share that information with them.

Sudbury Police have obtained video footage of the incident and ask that members of the public contact the department at 978-443-1042 if they believe they can help identify the vehicle involved.

Sudbury Police are also working with the New England State Police Information Network as they investigate this incident.
