BOURNE — The following is a statement from the Bourne School Committee regarding labor negotiations:
“As many of you may be aware, the Bourne School Committee and the Bourne Educators’ Association (BEA) have been negotiating successor contracts for the teachers, paraprofessionals and administrative assistants since Dec. 2021. The Bourne School Committee is pleased to announce that they have reached agreements with the BEA with respect to all three units for successor contracts for the next three years. The School Committee would like to thank all the members of the BEA negotiating team and the Bourne administrative team as this has been a lengthy and time-consuming process.
The Committee believes that these agreements represent a continued commitment by the Committee and the BEA to enhancing our educational programming for the students of Bourne and providing staff members with a fair economic settlement.”
