DRACUT — Chief of Police Peter Bartlett is pleased to announce that the Dracut Police Department and Dracut Fire Department are teaming up to collect toys for children in need this holiday season.
WHEN:
Sunday, Dec. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
WHERE:
Dracut Police Department, 110 Loon Hill Road
WHAT:
The Dracut Police Department and Dracut Fire Department are joining forces to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need that will be donated to Toys for Local Children, a local charity that Dracut firefighters have worked with for nearly two decades.
The Dracut Police Department is contributing to the effort by hosting a stuff-a-cruiser event at the police station, as they seek to fill a cruiser with new, unwrapped toys for the Fire Department’s ongoing toy drive.
“Please join us as we try to fill a cruiser with holiday cheer for families in need,” said Chief Bartlett. “Each donation of a new, unwrapped toy will help make Christmas brighter for a family in Middlesex or Essex County.”
