BOURNE — Following the District’s successful Innovation Pathways Open House last week, Bourne Community TV published a video yesterday showcasing the event.
The 1-hour video produced by Bourne Community TV showcases the highlights of the event and provides an in-depth presentation for those who may have been unable to attend.
As part of an initiative by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Innovation Pathways are designed to provide students with coursework and experience in several specific high-demand industries.
Each of the high school’s 37 senior interns were on-hand to talk to those in attendance about their internships and engage with people about their interests and experiences with the Innovation Pathways program thus far.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the high school’s new iMac Lab Business Suite and ambulance simulator. There was also a college and career readiness panel discussion led by local professionals and business owners.
