BOURNE — Bourne’s school bus drivers will be hosting a Stuff-a-Bus gift drive this weekend to help provide a happy holiday season to children in need throughout the community. All residents, business owners and visitors are encouraged to stop by with a new, unwrapped gifts.

Saturday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bourne Intermediate School, 70 Trowbridge Road, Buzzards Bay
WHAT
The Stuff-a-Bus gift drive will collect gifts to be distributed to children in need in Bourne this holiday season.
Anyone who would like to participate can drop off an unwrapped gift or gift card for a child of any age.
Some suggestions for toys that children are asking for include:
- Legos
- Pokemon cards
- Tech Deck
- Squishmallows
- Arts and crafts
- Drawing/painting supplies
- Science kits
- Mini Brands toys
- Board and card games
Some gift card suggestions include Amazon, Target, Walmart, Stop & Shop, Market Basket, CVS and Game Stop.
Bourne’s school bus drivers and Bourne Public Schools staff will be on hand to collect the gifts and greet those who are donating.
“We’re very excited to see everyone on Saturday and hoping for a big turnout this year,” said BPS Director of Transportation Sue Downing. “Every gift we receive goes directly to a child in Bourne. I want to thank everyone in advance for their generous donations and for helping to brighten the lives of those in our community who need it most.”
