DRACUT — Fire Chief Richard Patterson and the Dracut Fire Department are pleased to report that Santa Claus will once again visit the central fire station on Pleasant Street this year to meet community youths and share some snacks.
WHEN:
Sunday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon
WHERE:
Dracut Fire Department Headquarters, 488 Pleasant St.
WHAT:
Santa will pay a visit to Dracut Fire Headquarters, arriving on the department’s classic Engine 6, a 1948 Diamond-T fire engine. Santa will be on hand to share free snacks and beverages and to take photos with children.
Community members are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to Toys for Local Children, a non-profit group that supports families in Middlesex and Essex counties.
“I hope the community will join us as we welcome Santa to fire headquarters, and that all of us can come together to support families in need by contributing to Toys for Local Children, which the Dracut Fire Department and our firefighters union has supported for 20 years now,” said Chief Patterson. “I’d also like to thank the Dracut Firefighter’s Union, IAFF Local 2586, for once again organizing this event.”
