ACTON — Chief Richard Burrows and the Acton Police Department report that the man who was reported missing Friday afternoon has been found safe in Concord.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, at approximately 8 a.m., the 83-year-old Acton resident was found by a group of bicyclists in Concord in the area of Hutchins Pond. He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital as a precaution.
The man was reported missing on Friday, Dec. 2 at approximately 4 p.m., prompting a search by the Acton Police Department and its local and regional law enforcement partners, including the Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit and the State Police Airwing.
Acton Police wish to thank the Massachusetts State Police, local law enforcement partners, and all who assisted in safely locating the individual.
