GROVELAND 一 The Groveland Council on Aging would like to announce it is seeking applicants for a part-time position as Outreach Worker.
The COA Outreach Worker will be responsible for planning and coordinating home services to seniors in need or at risk, and their families.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to exercise judgment, and must have time management and record-keeping skills. Applicants also must be able to pass a Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with “My Senior Center” programing is a plus.
Candidates are required to have an associate degree or at least three years of experience in human services, social work, or other related fields. Knowledge of elder programs and services in the Merrimack Valley is a must.
Pay is $17.87 per hour, for 10 to 18 hours per week.
