MARLBOROUGH – Superintendent Ernest F. Houle would like to invite members of the community to attend Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School’s sixth annual SkillsUSA craft fair.
The fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, located at 215 Fitchburg St. The event will help to raise funds for the Assabet Valley SkillsUSA Chapter and to raise awareness of SkillsUSA. Admission is free.
The indoor event will feature more than 80 crafters and vendors that will offer a range of items, including jewelry, home decor, wood crafts, pottery, clothing, pet accessories, and more. Vendors will represent companies such as Mary Kay, LuLaRoe, and Tastefully Simple, among others. Assabet Valley’s Culinary Department will participate, along with a number of food vendors.
Items created by Assabet Valley students, as well as Assabet Valley merchandise, will also be on sale at the event.
Assabet students representing the SkillsUSA Leadership Team and JROTC will be volunteering all day to assist vendors and guests, and to ensure the event is a success.
Those with questions regarding the event are asked to contact Kelly Jenkins at kjenkins@assabet.org.
