WHAT
USA Lacrosse Day is the premiere nationwide event each fall for USA Lacrosse. This is the second consecutive year that Hull High School has served as a host location, and will be the only Massachusetts host site this year.
As part of the event, players will receive an introductory lacrosse experience called a “Pickup and Play” clinic. Participants will receive an introduction to the sport, get connected to their local community lacrosse organization, and receive a pinnie (lacrosse scrimmage jersey).
USA Lacrosse Day corresponds with National Celebrate Lacrosse Week, which this year is being held from Nov. 5-13. The week is intended to bring the country’s lacrosse community together both virtually and in person at various sites to help showcase what makes the sport special and unique.
“With interest in the sport and our breathtaking field continuing to grow, we are thrilled to be a USA Lacrosse Day host site again this year and look to add it to the growing list of events on the turf field including the annual jamboree by the sea, the summer ‘trash can’ lacrosse event, and annual week-long summer camps,” Athletic Director Duhaime said. “We thank Hull Youth Lacrosse for all they do to promote the sport in our community and for their help making sure this event is a hit again this year.”
