ACTON — Police Chief Richard Burrows and Fire Chief Robert Hart report that Acton Police and Fire Departments responded to a motorcycle crash this afternoon.
On Monday, Oct. 31, at about 12:01 p.m., Acton dispatchers received multiple reports that a motorcycle and motor vehicle collided in the area of 130 Great Road and Routes 2A and 119.
Upon arrival, first responders located the motorcycle operator, a 64-year-old male, suffering from injuries. He was treated at the scene by Acton paramedics, then transported by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The crash is under investigation by the Acton Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
