TEWKSBURY – Police Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department has arrested a Tewksbury man following an incident on Tuesday night.
RICKY CARL STANICHUK, AGE 70, OF TEWKSBURY, is charged with:
- Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon Causing Serious Bodily Injury
Officers responded on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 11:16 p.m., to report of an altercation at a Woodland Drive home. Upon initial investigation, officers discovered a 47-year-old Tewksbury man suffered several stab wounds to the neck and arms. Tewksbury Fire EMS provided initial aid, and transported the victim by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Based on their investigation, Tewksbury Police arrested STANICHUK. STANICHUK was transported by Tewksbury EMS ambulance to an area hospital.
A 44-year-old Tewksbury woman received medical treatment at the scene and declined transport to a hospital.
STANICHUK was ordered held without bail at an arraignment.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
