NORFOLK — Chief Timothy Heinz is pleased to invite community members to come have coffee and good conversation with members of the Norfolk Police Department, including its newly appointed command staff.
WHEN:
Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
WHERE:
Cilla’s Coffeehouse, 5 Liberty Lane
WHAT:
The upcoming Coffee With a Cop event will allow for the opportunity for police to share an informal conversation and a cup of coffee/refreshments with community members. The community is encouraged to take this opportunity to bring forth concerns or questions or to get to know some of the members of the Department.
Coffee will be provided for attendees courtesy of the Norfolk Police Department.
During the event, Norfolk Police Department’s new command staff ̶ Chief Heinz, Deputy Chief Michelle Palladini and Lt. Eric Van Ness ̶ and shift members will be present to greet the community.
“We hope our community members use this opportunity to sit down and have a conversation with members of the department they might not already know, especially since we’ve had recent promotions and hires within our department,” Chief Heinz said. “Through these conversations, we look forward to hearing feedback from our community members and using what they have to say as a guide to our future community policing events and initiatives.”
