TEWKSBURY – Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a Quincy man with trafficking fentanyl as a result of an investigation into information provided by a community member.
JORGE RAMIREZ ANDUJAR, AGE 30, OF QUINCY, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking More Than 10 Grams of Fentanyl
On Monday, Aug. 8, the Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit, responded to information about drug dealing that was provided by a concerned resident.
The Narcotics Unit, working in collaboration with officers from the Dracut and Chelmsford Police Departments and the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, conducted an investigation into an alleged drug dealer, later identified as ANDUJAR, at the Ames Hill apartment complex.
Detectives made contact with ANDUJAR after conducting an investigation and located over 20 grams of fentanyl.
ANDUJAR is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
