SUDBURY – Goodnow Library invites community members to complete a strategic planning survey, which will help the Library better serve the public.
The survey asks questions pertaining to demographics, technology, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion, children and teen services, and requests feedback on the library’s offerings and staff. All questions are optional.
The survey should only take 15 minutes to complete. Survey takers may remain anonymous. However, those who share contact information at the end of the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) values strategic planning to strengthen relationships between libraries and communities. A strategic plan is required to be eligible to apply for many federal and state grants.
“Libraries are so much more than just books. They are places to gather, learn, craft, study, work, and more,” Library Director Esmé Green said. “We would love to hear what the community would like, so that we can best serve its needs.”
All information shared in the survey will be kept confidential.
