CANAAN – Superintendent Amanda Isabelle is pleased to announce that Mascoma Valley Regional School District is welcoming two new administrators.
Jamie Winny has been named as the new Principal at Enfield Village School and Stephen Stebbins has been named as Mascoma’s new Athletic Director. Both joined the District on July 1.
Jamie Winny
Winny holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix Online, which she earned in 2019.
Winny has deep experience working in education, having served as a Grade 8 math teacher and a student services coordinator in SAU 6 in Claremont, and as a long-time special education paraprofessional in SAU 88 in Lebanon.
Winny also brings experience working in administrative roles. She most recently served as assistant principal at Claremont Middle School, where she encouraged and advised students, supported faculty, and implemented school policy.
“I am excited to start this adventure with a new team of established administrators,” Winny said. “I look forward to seeing what this next chapter brings and I feel fortunate for the great opportunity!”
Stephen Stebbins
Stebbins has an extensive coaching background at Mascoma, having coached 10 total seasons of basketball at Indian River Middle School, as well as four seasons of Junior Varsity soccer at Mascoma High School.
Stebbins also served as the athletic director at Andover Elementary/Middle School in SAU 46 in Andover from 1998-2005. Most recently, he worked as a math teacher within the Mascoma District.
“As an alumnus and someone who has taught and coached at Mascoma for 20 years now, I am definitely someone who bleeds purple. I am so excited to be the new athletic director at Mascoma and help my old stomping grounds grow in spirit, sportsmanship and success,” Stebbins said.
Stebbins holds several certifications, including a Registered Athletic Administrator certificate from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
