SWANSEA — Town Administrator Mallory Aronstein is pleased to announce the Swansea Highway and Parks Department will be hosting a Family Movie Night this weekend.
When:
Saturday, July 9 beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Where:
Swansea Veterans Memorial Park, Milford Road
What:
The Highway and Parks Department will be showing “The Rookie” at Swansea’s first Family Movie Night this weekend. Family games will be provided prior to the start of the movie including wiffleball, cornhole and kickball. Additionally, Youth All-Stars will be playing prior to the movie on field six.
The Snack Shack will be open for refreshments and operated by the local little league. Restrooms will also be open to those in attendance.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, bug spray and hand sanitizer.
Residents and families are encouraged to attend this new community event and enjoy a wonderful night at the park.
