CONCORD — Chief Joseph O’Connor reports that the Concord Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with a break-in at a commercial building.
At about 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, Concord Police were dispatched to the Exxon/Dunkin Donuts at 1098 Concord Turnpike for a report that an individual had broken into the store.
An initial investigation determined that the glass of the front door had been shattered. Officers searched the building and surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Subsequent investigation determined that the suspect entered the store and attempted to take the cash drawer, but fled when he was unable to.
The suspect is believed to be 5 feet, 9 inches, to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, possibly weighing 160 to 180 pounds, possibly with a goatee. He was wearing a knit hat and dark clothing at the time of the incident.
