Canton High School Recognizes Students at Annual Scholarship Awards Night

CANTON -- Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeff Sperling are pleased to announce that numerous Canton High School seniors were recognized recently at the school’s annual Scholarship Awards Night.

Over $230,000 in Scholarships Presented to Students

CANTON — Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeff Sperling are pleased to announce that numerous Canton High School seniors were recognized recently at the school’s annual Scholarship Awards Night.

The awards were presented during a ceremony at Canton High School.

“The number of scholarships presented at this event exemplifies the Canton community’s commitment to its students. These scholarships serve as an amazing legacy of family members and organizations who want to support the aspirations and dreams of this senior class. The highly deserving group of students being recognized have demonstrated dedication to academic achievement, extracurricular activities and community service at CHS,” Principal Sperling said. “We congratulate each student honored for their hard work and dedication to Canton High School and beyond.”

The event began with opening remarks from Superintendent Folan, Canton School Committee member Kendall O’Halloran, and CHS Principal Jeff Sperling. Director of Counseling Dr. Meredith Chamberland emceed the Scholarship Awards Night, while Counseling Office Administrative Assistant Anne Murray coordinated the scholarships. 

In total, just over $230,000 in scholarships was presented at the event, which is the most ever for a Canton High School graduating class.

The following students were recognized at the event for earning scholarships:
