ENFIELD — Chief Edward N. Richards and the Enfield Board of Commissioners would like to invite community members to attend Enfield Fire District No. 1’s upcoming 125th Anniversary Celebration this Saturday.

Saturday, June 25 from noon to 2 p.m.
WHERE:
Enfield Fire District No.1 Station 2, 199 Weymouth Road
WHAT:
Enfield Fire District No. 1 was first organized in 1896 and has operated continuously ever since. This year, the department is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a special celebration for all to enjoy. The initial celebration was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
At the event, there will be an ice cream social, obstacle course and smoke trailer. Attendees will also get a tour of the station and have the opportunity to see the different engines and trucks Enfield’s firefighters use on a daily basis to protect and serve their community.
This event is free to all that attend.
