Prior to that he served for 14 years as a principal of various schools within the Westport Community Schools.
During his time as a principal he has developed and maintained annual school budgets including capital improvement projects; devised innovative concepts, ideas and plans to engage parents in the education process; developed community education programming events; implemented Title I programs; and created enhanced academic programs such as a math lab and literacy committee.
