CONCORD – Chief Joseph O’Connor is pleased to announce that two new officers have joined the Concord Police Department.

Officer Juliana DiRamio and Officer Daniel Lordan completed the MPTC Police Academy at Merrimack College in Andover on April 1, and are now certified by the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission. They will start work in May, and be assigned to field training with a senior officer.

Officer Juliana DiRamio

Officer DiRamio is a native of Whitman. She attended Massasoit Community College, where she obtained an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, and Bridgewater State University in May 2021 where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She attained Dean’s List honors at both schools.

Officer DiRamio graduated from Merrimack College in May 2022 with a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, maintaining a 3.8 grade-point average. Officer DiRamio is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Her previous experience includes an internship at the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Officer Daniel Lordan

Officer Lordan is a native of Arlington. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in May 2020, and a Master’s degree in Criminology, both from Merrimack College.

Officer Lordan was the Vice President of his Academy class.

He has served in several leadership positions, including as president and vice president of the Merrimack College Golf Club. He also has volunteered with Special Olympics and Relay for Life.

His previous experience includes an internship with the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General and an internship with the Arlington Police Department.

“I ask the community to join the Department in welcoming Officer DiRamio and Officer Lordan,” Chief O’Connor said. “They have proven themselves capable through their education and Academy experiences, and I am confident they will serve the Concord community with distinction.”
