HULL- Superintendent Judith Kuehn and Principal Nicole Nosek are pleased to report that Hull High School recently held successful Spirit Week activities at the school.
Spirit Week at HHS was held from March 14-18, with themed days throughout the week.
Themes for the week included:
- Monday: Mathlete vs athlete
- Tuesday: Bring anything but a backpack
- Wednesday: Grade wars/staff dress like students
- Thursday: Wear green for St. Patrick’s Day
- Friday: Blue and gold
The event culminated with a pep rally to celebrate the start of spring and a seniors vs. staff/alumni basketball game fundraiser. The pep rally was full of team building activities with grade level teams. Activities ranged from obstacle course races, a tug-of-war and more.
The senior class raised over $1,000 at the basketball game, and the faculty beat the students in an exciting game, by a score of 51-42.
“This was a wonderful week overall, with a true boost in spirits after a long haul with the COVID-19 pandemic,” Principal Nosek said.
