TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan M. Columbus reports that Tewksbury Police have charged two men with trafficking Fentanyl in the area of Main Street on Friday.
On Friday, Jan. 21, Tewksbury Police detectives seized approximately 33 grams of fentanyl and a quantity of cocaine as a result of an investigation in the area of 85 Main St.
WILLIAM PRIM, AGE 57, OF TYNGSBOROUGH, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking Over 10 Grams of Fentanyl
- Possession of a Class B Substance – Subsequent Offense
VICTOR CORDEIRO, AGE 48, OF LOWELL was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking Over 10 Grams of Fentanyl
- Possession of a Class B Substance
Prim and Cordeiro will be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday.
“We continue to aggressively pursue those who profit from the suffering and misery of others by selling these substances in our community, while we also provide resources to those with substance use disorder,” said Chief Columbus. “I applaud our officers and detectives for their diligent work.”
