PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island Police Chiefs’ Association is pleased to announce the launch of a new website, giving community members an updated and modern space to access information and resources, news, events and more.
The new RIPCA website, ripolicechiefs.org, features a modern look and accessible design, with multiple user-friendly and resource-oriented features including information about the Association, its bylaws and its members.
There is also a page on RIPCA’s Twenty for 2020 campaign, a list of 20 promises to all Rhode Islanders from their police departments to redouble a statewide focus on training, transparency, communication and human rights. The page features the complete list of promises as part of the campaign, a promotional video featuring multiple police chiefs speaking on the campaign, and a link to download the full Twenty for 2020 campaign booklet.
Residents are encouraged to visit the website’s news blog to stay up to date with the latest RIPCA news and updates. Those who subscribe via email to the news blog will receive notifications for new posts.
The site also features a calendar of upcoming events, links to important legislation and statewide government information, information on statewide police accreditation, and other resources for Rhode Island residents.
