BOURNE — Superintendent Kerri Ann Quinlan-Zhou and principal Amy Cetner are pleased to announce that the Bourne High School music department will be presenting the school’s Winter Chorus Concert this evening.
On Thursday, Dec. 9 beginning at 7 p.m., the Winter Chorus Concert will be held in the Beth Bourne Auditorium at BHS.
The concert is free and open to the public.
This is the music department’s first concert in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The chorus has been practicing for three months to prepare for the show.
“There was no singing last year in school because of COVID, so we are are thrilled to be putting this concert on this evening,” BHS music teacher Lisa Fournier said. “It will be great to have everyone on stage singing again for the school and Bourne community.”
The Bourne High School chorus consists of students in grades 9-12.
In addition to tonight’s show, the BHS Winter Alumni Band Concert will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 7-7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The show will consist of BHS students and alumni band students performing together.
