BOURNE — Superintendent Kerri Anne Quinlan-Zhou and Principal Amy Cetner are pleased to announce that Bourne High School will be hosting the Bourne Advantage Showcase for students in grades 7 and 8 next week.
WHEN
Monday, Nov. 22. There will be a morning session for students, and an evening session for families will begin at 6 p.m.
WHERE
Bourne High School auditorium, 75 Waterhouse Road
WHAT
As part of the Bourne Advantage Showcase, Bourne High School will be opening its doors to grade 7 and 8 students and families. Students will spend the morning at BHS, learning about the course offerings and programming at the high school. The interactive program is designed to give students a first-hand look at what life is like at BHS.
The program will be repeated that evening for families. Students will have the opportunity to show their caregivers what programs are of interest to them.
Students in grades 7-12 who are interested in applying for school choice with Bourne Public Schools are also welcome to attend.
“We hope all families will take advantage of this opportunity to learn firsthand about the high-quality programming available to all students at Bourne High School,” Principal Cetner said. “The event will give our students in grades 7 and 8 the chance to meet with current high school students and teachers, engage in hands-on curricular activities, and much more.”
Those with questions about the Bourne Advantage Showcase can email Principal Cetner at acetner@bourneps.org or call 508-759-0670.
