CANTON — Superintendent Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoffrey Zini are pleased to announce that Blue Hills Regional Technical School welcomed hundreds of prospective students and their families to its open house this week.
On Wednesday, Nov. 3, Blue Hills Regional hosted an annual open house event for prospective students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade and their families. At the event, families had the opportunity to explore Blue Hills Regional’s facilities and shops.
“Every year we host our open house event in an effort to give our prospective students and their families the chance to see what type of hands-on experience and quality education they can receive at our school,” Superintendent Rossetti said. “Each year, we have a great turnout with students and their families eager to learn more about the opportunities that await them at a vocational school. We look forward to hopefully seeing some attendees enroll at our school in the near future.”
During the open house, attendees explored the advanced technology and equipment students use, met teachers who are industry experts and learned about ways that students can fund their future using their career tech experience. Prospective students also had the opportunity to speak with current students and alumni about their experiences at Blue Hills Regional.
“I would like to thank all of our faculty, staff, administration, school committee members, students, families and alumni who helped our open house go off without a hitch,” Principal Zini said. “Last night was a great time to meet and mingle with one another while celebrating all that career-technical education has to offer.”
