SOUTH EASTON — Superintendent Luis Lopes is pleased to announce that Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School graduate Shannon Kuskoski will be a guest panelist during a virtual discussion on advanced manufacturing.

WHAT:
SERVTHS graduate Shannon Kuskoski will be a panelist on the virtual presentation, “Advanced Manufacturing: Explore Pathways to Exciting and Rewarding Careers.”
The presentation, which is intended for middle and high school students, their families, educators and business/community members, will give students the opportunity to meet industry leaders, employers and employees who are currently working in the field of advanced manufacturing. It will also give participants the chance to learn more about the wide range of career opportunities in the advanced manufacturing field.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Michael Tamasi, AccuRounds President and CEO, Executive Committee Business Leaders United Chair, Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative Co-Chair, and Southeastern Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (SAMC) Partner.
Panelists will include:
- Shannon Kuskoski, SERVTHS graduate, finisher at AccuRounds, Avon
- John Graves, President of Symmons Industries, Braintree
- Charlie Merrow, President of Merrow Manufacturing, Fall River
- Diane Ferrera, Director of Human Resources at AccuRounds, Avon
- Nancy Conti, Assistant Treasurer and Human Resource Manager at Boyd Corporation, Woburn
“There are many options for those studying in the advanced manufacturing career track, and this program will give our students and their families the opportunity to learn more about these opportunities,” Superintendent Lopes said. “What’s even more exciting is that one of the panelists will be a Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School graduate, who can be a great role model for our students looking to follow down a similar career path.”
