ESSEX – The Essex Police Department and Essex Fire Department invite community members to a 9/11 Memorial Service in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

ESSEX – The Essex Police Department and Essex Fire Department invite community members to a 9/11 Memorial Service in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

WHEN:

Saturday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9:55 a.m.

WHERE:

In front of the Public Safety Building, 11 John Wise Ave.

WHAT:

In observance of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and in remembrance of those who lost their lives, the Essex Police Department and Essex Fire Department will host a memorial service Saturday in front of the Essex Public Safety Building. No speakers are scheduled. Attendees will reflect on and remember those individuals that lost their lives during the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and offer a prayer.
