GEORGETOWN — Chief Donald C. Cudmore would like to thank the Georgetown Mushball League (GML) for donating to the Georgetown Police Department for the second year in a row.
GML generously donated $500 to the Georgetown Police Department. Funds were raised through GML’s league fees. The majority of league fees are donated to local charities and organizations.
The funds will assist the department in purchasing items that are distributed to children throughout the year, including T-shirts and bags.
“I would like to thank League Commissioner Scott Gaeta along with all the members of the GML for their continued support over the years,” said Chief Cudmore. “The Georgetown Police Department and its employees are so fortunate to be a part of a community with such commitment. We are proud to protect and serve these residents every day.”
GML will be accepting applications for its 12th season this spring. More information about the program will be released in the coming months.
