The Brockton Area’s 2021 Overdose Vigil by Candlelight will honor those who have been lost to an overdose and their loved ones. The vigil will provide those who are grieving a safe space to remember their loved ones, those in recovery a place to share their strength, and those who are still struggling a place to be with others who are there to stand in solidarity and help them to know that they are not alone.
Throughout the ceremony there will be speakers and musical performances. The ceremony will conclude with a memorial slideshow.
This event is sponsored by the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative, the Brockton Mayor’s Opioid Overdose Prevention Coalition, Bridging L.I.V.E.S., E.B. Hope, Rockland C.A.R.E.S. and Whitman-Hanson WILL.
