WINTHROP — Police Chief Terence Delehanty and Owner Patsy Cimino invite residents to a barbeque honoring first responders hosted by Cimino’s Meat Market in Winthrop.
WHEN
Wednesday, Aug. 4, at 5 p.m.
WHERE
Metcalf Square, Town Hall front lawn and behind Winthrop Police Department.
The square will be blocked off at Winthrop, Pauline and Herman St. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes during the event.
WHAT
This event will honor police, fire and emergency medical services staff for their service to the town. Public safety personnel from Winthrop will be present.
The free event is open to adults and children of all ages. Food, beverages and music will be provided courtesy of Cimino’s Meat Market. There also will be a children’s bounce house.
“We are so appreciative to Mr. Cimino for organizing this event. We are truly looking forward to it and encourage our residents to join us,” said Chief Delehanty. “This is a fun way for our community members to come together and connect and socialize with their local public safety officials.”
