NORWOOD — Chief George Morrice reports that the Norwood Fire Department responded to an apartment complex Friday morning after three workers fell approximately 25 feet.

At approximately 11 a.m., Norwood firefighters responded to a call for medical assistance at The Commons at Windsor Gardens apartment complex at 401 Buckminster Drive.

Upon arrival, first responders located three workers who had fallen about 25 feet from ladders that were in use at the building.

All three men were transported to area hospitals. One worker was transported by ambulance to Norwood Memorial Airport where he was taken by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. A second worker was transported by a Walpole Fire Department ambulance to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries. A third worker was transported by a Norwood Fire Department ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
