EAST BRIDGEWATER — The Town of East Bridgewater and the East Bridgewater Board of Health are pleased to share that the Board of Health held COVID-19 vaccination clinics for younger residents recently.
The Board of Health conducted vaccination clinics at the East Bridgewater Junior-Senior High School for 12-18 year old residents. First dose clinics were held May 20, and second dose clinics were held June 10.
In total, 168 vaccinations were administered at the first clinic, and 158 were given out at the second.
Anyone who missed their second dose should contact Sue Mulloy at the Board of Health if still interested in receiving it.
The Town of East Bridgewater and the East Bridgewater Board of Health would like to thank Fire Chief Chief Timothy Harhen for his ongoing support of vaccination efforts in town, including attending both clinics. Additionally, thanks are given to EMS Coordinator Lt. Chris Olson and Public Health Nurse Heather Doucette for their roles as vaccinators and leaders at the clinics, and all EBFD staff who assisted.
The BOH reminds residents that the COVID-19 vaccine is readily available via walk-ins at most local pharmacies, and appointments can be scheduled at vaxfinder.mass.gov.
