HAMPTON — Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa reports that Hampton School District is actively seeking applicants for several positions for the 2021-2022 school year.
Select positions have the opportunity to begin immediately.
Hampton School District Currently has openings for:
- Assistant Principal at the Centre School
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Principal Certification; a master’s degree in education; proven leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills; project management and problem-solving skills; and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Position begins July 1.
- Athletic Director
- The Athletic Director is a stipend paid position and works with grades six through eight at Hampton Academy. Position begins Aug. 26.
- Middle School STEM Teacher at Hampton Academy
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in either Elementary Education or a related discipline applicable to the teaching assignment. Begins Aug. 23.
- Middle School Math Teacher at Hampton Academy
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in either Elementary Education or a related discipline applicable to the teaching assignment. Begins Aug. 23.
- Elementary School Classroom teachers in kindergarten through grade five at the Centre School and Marston School
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in either Elementary Education or a related discipline applicable to the teaching assignment. Begins Aug. 23.
- Occupational therapist at Hampton Academy
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification/Licensure. Begins Aug. 23.
- Physical Therapist (districtwide)
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification/Licensure. Begins Aug. 23.
- Speech language pathologist at Hampton Academy
- Applicants must have their New Hampshire Certification/Licensure. Begins Aug. 23.
- Paraprofessionals
- Starting dates vary.
- Technology/Data Management Clerk
- Preferred candidates will have experience working with PowerSchool, Frontline Education, Google Admin and other school-based systems. Begins July 1.
- Substitute teachers
- The District has waived its requirement that all substitute teachers hold a bachelor’s degree, although it is still preferred.
- Hampton School District has additionally raised its rate from $13 per hour to $15 per hour. Substitute teachers are paid by the day.
- Substitute School Nurse
- Nursing licensure required. Begins immediately.

Positions are available at schools including the Centre School, Adeline C. Marston School and Hampton Academy. The Centre School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade two, the Marston School serves students in grades three through five and Hampton Academy serves students in grades six through eight.
