RAYMOND — Superintendent Tina McCoy is pleased to announce John Harmon and Ada Vadeboncoeur have been sworn in as the newest School Board members for the Raymond School District.
The School Board consists of five elected representatives and one student representative who help with the planning and implementation of different polices, programs and initiatives within the district. Harmon and Vadeboncoeur were sworn in on Saturday, March 13 by District Clerk Linda Hoelz, marking the start of their three year terms. The two will serve as Vice Chair and Secretary, respectively.
Harmon, who previously served on the School Board for 12 years, has been a Raymond resident for the last 50 years and has three children who are currently attending in the district’s schools.
Vadeboncoeur moved to Raymond two years ago and has worked as an educator in both the private and public sector for over 20 years. She has two children and two stepchildren.
“We are thrilled to have Ada and John serve on our School Board, and would like to extend them a warm welcome as they settle into their new roles,” Superintendent McCoy said. “These elected representatives play a vital role serving our communities and helping to create the best learning environment for our students. We look forward to working with them in the weeks and months to come.”
